An adventure combining mountains, charming mountain villages and history
We’ll take you on a seven-stage trek through France and Italy, under the watchful eye of the Mont Viso, the massif’s highest peak (3841m). During this journey, we’ll combine breathtaking panoramas with varied landscapes and walk through mountain villages such as Abriès, Pontechianale, Saint-Véran and Molines.
If conditions allow, on the evening of 12 August we’ll try to gain a little more altitude in the hope of catching a glimpse of the solar eclipse!
Another special highlight of this trip will undoubtedly be the Traversette Tunnel, a surprising passage on the border between France and Italy.

- To make this trip accessible to people with varying financial means, we invite you to adjust this price to suit your own financial situation – either upwards or downwards (without having to justify your decision, subject to a minimum of €700 per person).

- Travel and cancellation insurance (recommended)
We’ll be staying in cosy and comfortable mountain huts and sleeping in dormitories.
Examples include the insurance offered by the Klim- en Bergsportfederatie or the Club Alpin Belge. For Belgian residents: this membership entitles you to the ‘sports benefit’ from your health insurance fund.
Adequate travel assistance and cancellation insurance are recommended.
This trip will take place with a minimum of 6 participants.
A €50 administration fee will be charged for every cancellation.
- Cancellation more than 2 months before departure: 80% refund
- Cancellation less than 2 months before departure: 50% refund
- Cancellation less than 1 month before departure: no refund
Exception: If the spot is filled by a new participant, you will be refunded the amount paid, minus a €50 administration fee, regardless of when the cancellation was made.
